hi all,
I am using icehouse 3 node setup .
i have launched a virtual machine with fedora20 on host machine Ubuntu
12.04.5 LTS.
I have compiled DPDK-1.6 on the virtual machine and trying to run basic
dpdk application [l2fwd] .
I am getting illegal instruction (core dumped) error .

Hi all,
If you run OpenStack, build apps on it, or have customers with OpenStack
deployments, please take a few minutes to respond to the latest User
Survey or pass it along to your friends.
Since 2013, the user survey has provided significant insight into what

Hi,
I am using Tacker with Openstack liberty verson.
I followed the demo that you have presented to instantiate a VNF, but in my
case VNF instance is not getting created. But again, the VNF manager shows
the status of it as ACTIVE.
Background:

Hello Basavaraj.
Instances are created under tacker user.
Source tacker user credentials and check if the VNF is properly launched.

Tom,
For the "Which OpenStack Network (Neutron) drivers are you using?” section.
What is the difference between using Juniper and OpenContrail?. There should be
only OpenContrail or something like OpenContrail/Juniper.
Thanks,
Edgar

Hello Eduardo,
Thanks for the reply. I am trying to instantiate VNF through dashboard. So
I did not get a chance to source tacker user credentials.
The dashboard credentials are admin/devstack.
I see the instance under Admin->System->Instances.
I could even go to Console, but the console screen
Hello,
Got the instance console.
But I don't see my sample program running.
Please find attached snapshot.
Can you please let me know how I can check the output of my program?

Hello,
I can't find documentation about this.
Is it possible to resize instance down when use CEPH as storage?
Right now I try to resize down and I receive error:
Flavor's disk is too small for requested image. Flavor disk is

Hi Basavaraj:
A couple of questions:
Does your image contain a copy of the "hello" program you are looking for?
Is the image configured to run the program automatically at boot time?
Or did you use the "user_data" section of the template to run the
program after the VM is deployed?

Isn't it similar to asking if you use Fedora, CentOS, or RHEL?
My understanding is that Juniper offers a paid/supported version of
Contrail while OpenContrail is the open source version.

No, that is not the case. There is not Enterprise version of OpenContrail.
Therefore, this question could split the responses because it is confusing.

I'm not following. There's a paid-for / enterprise version of Contrail from
Juniper:

So I think two separate entries are valid.

After reading a bit on both pages, I think Juniper created their own mess here.
I am cc one of the contrail PMs to get some clarification.
As far as I know, the code is exactly the same but the ‘enterprise' one
includes support from Juniper team. Anyway, maybe too late to get it fixed now.

I don't think it's possible, or at least I haven't been able to resize down
for disk.
It isn't the size of the image that matters, but the virtual size of the
disk. If the flavor's disk is 10GB, and the image is 2GB, cloud-init will
try to expand the file system to the full 10GB on boot. That woul

My 2 cents.
