What's the version of gnocchi you're testing?
I am also experiencing the same problem with gnocchi 2.2.0 release. I find
that the gnocchi-metricd processes keep high CPU utility.

I'm testing gnocchi on lab and realizing it drains CPU and RAM too much.
Do you have a recommendtion for sizing Gnocchi Server configuration?
