I am facing a similar problem with ceilometer. I have cloned the most
recent Devstack and included this in the localrc.
ENABLED_SERVICES+=,ceilometer-acompute,ceilometer-acentral,ceilometer-collector,ceilometer-api,ceilometer-anotification
ENABLED_SERVICES+=,ceilometer-alarm-notif

I am trying to create a web-interface to interact with OpenStack which will
be on the back end of my system. I need to create a button which on click
will get the auth_token and authenticate on keystone using curl/pycurl.
