and looks orphaned.
Instead of several projects copying and adopting these files - and thus
having them in various state in repositories - what can we do to make it
easier for developer and projects to address these two problems?

Direct link to the file - or add the repository and install from there:

?
There should really be nothing special.
If you want to use cloud-init, for SLES 11 SP3 you need to pick up
cloud-init from the Open Build Service (OBS (Cloud:Tools,
http://software.opensuse.org/package/cloud-init), for SLES 12 cloud-init
is part of the Public Cloud module.

I'd like to invite you to improve the existing OpenStack documentation,
see http://docs.openstack.org for what exists and how to join.
Your contributions are welcome!

Let's work together to enhance the OpenStack documentation to really
describe heat templates. The documentation team has started work on:
http://specs.openstack.org/openstack/docs-specs/specs/juno/h
configured not to send to the author?
did you configure the mailing list software to not send mails to
yourself? Please check the mailman options,

thanks for writing this up!
Isn't this some kind of documentation that should be added instead to
the Install guide? Documentation team, what's your take on this?

I know that the Networking part is not as easy as it should be in the

not easy enough there?
