At the moment the aging is pretty rudimentary. There were patches in the
Icehouse cycles that tried to address issues like this but they did not
get any reviews and were eventually abandoned.
It would be nice if there were different options for aging, maybe we
should even try and explore something

Can Neutron do NAT between IPv4 and IPv6? For example, if there is a
Neutron router between an external network having only IPv6 subnets and a
tenant network having only IPv4 subnets, can there be a floating IP
address in v6 bound to a private IP address in v4?
If I have a tenant network with
Ok, so that sounds like a totally reasonable feature request to me.
Can you please file a bug so its tracked and let me know the bug

This question is too broad to answer. What do you consider "production
grade"? Are you referring to resiliency? Scale? What workloads run on
the cloud? Storage size? Throughput?
The instance disk images are stored in ceph.
This isn't a situation we hit often. But when several users are booting
large, short-lifecyle instances (say, Windows, or Hadoop images to use with
Sahara), they get the "no valid host" error. The only recourse then is for
an admin to manually clean up

Hello,
Hello,
We currently have two OpenStack management nodes (mgmt1 & mgmt2) with
keystone, nova, glance etc. the access is through a VIP and a HAProxy
balanced by round robin. When I use the nova CLI for example "nova --debug
list", I can see that the initial keystone request is spread a
Hi James,
I feel it will be useful for you if you go through this discussion (How a
VM gets its hostname in Openstack Cloud ?) posted by me in Openstack group :
