Hi list,
I find a page on wiki : https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/InstanceResourceQuota
It is said we can set CPU, disk IO and bandwidth consumption limit for instances
But the blueprint page returns error, while the patch is abandoned in early
last year.
Anyone can help me to know the current s
We don't have a workload remotely like that (generally, we have a lot more
demand for bandwidth, but we also generally run faster networks than that
as well), but 1k pps sounds awfully low. Like low by several orders of
magnitude.
I didn't measure pps in our benchmarking, but did manage to saturat
Hi again…
I'm attempting to create a volume on my DevStack-based OpenStack install and am
seeing the error "Failed to schedule_create_volume: No valid host was found."
However, I have about 90 GB of free space on the root partition of my VM
running OpenStack and configured the ~/devstack/local.
Wow, its kinda hard to imagine we are the only ones that have only 100Mb/s
bandwidth but 50.000 requests per minute on each compute, i mean, lots of
throughput, almost none bandwith.
Everyone has their networking performance figured out ?
No one to share some "SUPER THROUGHPUT" sysctl / ethtool /
Steve,
I recall researching a related bug[1] and determined through testing
various permutations that 'auth_uri' cannot replace the other separate keys.

Hi,
When authenticating via Keystone, most services seem to require configuring
the 'auth_uri' key to prevent the following warning:
WARNING keystoneclient.middleware.auth_token [-] Configuring auth_uri to
point to the public identity endpoint is required; clients may not be able
to authenticate
Hi,
Can someone pls help me with following issues:
- can one instance (i.e. one port) be a member of several LoadBalancers pools?
- can LoadBalancer balance traffic between different nets/subnets?
- in case of “yes” to previous question, what will happen if different subnets
are of same class/CI

Right now I did not fix a deadline for the publishing of the "full multi-node"
installation guide yet, but I'll stat the work quite soon

Dear all,
I managed to have some workaround for this.
Well, after I looked into code, I noticed there are two implementations
which will make significant impact on my system:
instances =
self.compute_api.get_all(context,search_opts=search_opts,sort_dir='asc')
