You may also want to use packstack's exclude_servers option to avoid
potentially causing issues on hosts that don't need any changes.

Just try to deploy the image without Heat - as a regular instance and
check the "log". You will see messages about cloud-init (SSH key
generation, network configuration, etc).

Just modify your answer file on controller node and run it on controller
node again. You will be asked to input the password for your compute node
when you run packstack.
