Hi,
I just tried to add two new servers into the ring. Only the containers were
replicated to the new servers but there are no objects beeing replicated.
The disks don't even have a objects folder yet. On the old servers there
are plenty of log entries that indicate that something is going wrong:
Given this node is your laptop, I assume the OpenStack environment is for
testing.
If that is the case, have you considered running a VM? (using Virtual Box for
example) You can add virtual
NICs to VMs for testing.
Something like RDO on top of CentOS or Fedora would get you going quickly.

t can easily be updated to it because
of the ease of coding with the framework.
So don't count out python up front for performance as this system has proven to
beat many queue systems I tested written in c++.

Mind sharing your nova.conf with us. You have a misconfiguration of which api's
should be exposed which is causing 2 to use the same port.
