As of revision 128 of the swift trunk (
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~hudson-openstack/swift/trunk/revision/138), we
have added code that will require a configuration change.

I am looking into a migration of some scripts (currently used to build
EC2 images mostly) from Amazon's ec2-ami-tools and ec2-api-tools to
euca2ools. So I am just curious if OpenStack uses a separately maintained
version, or relies on the one that Eucalyptus maintains?

I have used the tools directly from Eucalyptus for image creation/management
on CentOS and Ubuntu with no problems. (On CentOS be sure it is the very
latest version of the tool, otherwise you will have problems specific to the
tool, not the integration with OpenStack)
