Hi,
I'm using a private cloud, not MAAS (I would like to test it soon :) … An
OpenStack private cloud, using Essex version, comprising an IaaS cloud. Then
Juju is used to create new instances and orchestrate services like mysql,
hadoop, etc.
Cheers!

Hi!
Continuing the tests, I've found the cause of some problems.
1) In my nova.conf I had the --multi_host=T flag. This was the problem.
Removing that the secrules became active. Secrules from Juju samples are
working fine now.
2) Pointing the host running juju to use the dnsmasq from nova-
Hi, I would like to understand two things important here in this moment.
1) What really means a virtual CPU? How does Openstack/KVM deal with CPU
allocation from host to instances? For example: I have a compute node, with 2
six cores Xeon, totalizing 24 threads. If I instantiate 24 instances, i
These are great options! Thanks :)

Hum, ok, I'll try some versions tomorrow and post the results!
Thanks Vish!

Some considerations ... I don't know if nova remove rules when an instance is
terminated. But it seems that some rules are missing. For example, we can se a
lot of address in the NAT table, from .4 to .9 ... But, in the FILTER table, we
can see rules just to hosts .7 and .18.
