Hi Yi,
There are no plans for an Essex-compatible version of Horizon + Quantum
integration, and new work to integrate Quantum into Horizon will use Folsom
APIs.
The reasons for this have been covered in previous threads, but the gist is
that in Essex quantum networks must be created via Nova (e.g

Please can you tell me what is a zone here, where to define and how to pass

Hi all,
I’ve run into some unpredictable behavior attaching volumes to instances,
I can mount volumes sometimes, whilst other times status remains
“attaching” and my compute node dies. Anyone run into this issue?
Environment:

Sorry for the confusion, but if you are using essex with keystone, you actually
will need to use the tenant_id for your quota changes, not your tenant name.
Nova has no way of mapping names to ids since that data is in keystone now.

Your swift endpoint appears to be literally configured in keystone as
"http://${SWIFT_HOST}:8080/v1/..."; -- I'm guessing that's unreachable :)
Based on your logs, I'm not certain that will fix your 500, however.
