Your chances of running KDE2.2 on RedHat 7.0 are approximately zero. My colleague tried this and he totalled his machine. I've said this so often it should be in a FAQ, but RedHat 7.0 onwards depends heavily on the openssl package. KDE2.2 comes with RedHat 7.2, so it's probably a better option to
