this is how i do it:
Menu: Tools / Internet Options
Dialog Internet Options: Content Tab
Content Tab: Certificates Button
Certificates Dialog: Export Button

you have to export your private key into a .pfx file.
this is the pkcs#12 format and should be pem comaptible.
