I am on my way to learn more about OpenSSL. My current task is to create
a script, similar to CA.pl, to ease cert handling.
Ideally I would want to have one config file, holding different values
for a CA cert, a server cert and a client cert separated by sections.
This would require to have (at l
We plan to use the MS certificate services on W2K
as our certificate server, with a High Secure Module
to protect the CA key.
Is anyone aware of security holes in that product?
I think that the current MS cryptographic-related
products or implementations (CSP, Kerberos, ...)
are now as secure as

Hi all
I am currently building a certificate server based on openssl. This

I have run some perfomance tests, ie: send several requests

Just curious because I like the idea of having an email address in the DN.
Cheers,

Folks,
using MS Certificate Server is it possible to specify an Email address
in the DN for creating a CA certificate? In the server setup (v1.0) there's
a field called "CA Name" which is the CN of course but I didn't detect
a way to include an Email address as well.
A workaround might be to use
