I'm using OpenSSL 0.9.2B and would like to enable/disable session id
caching. Is this possible from the command line, or does the software
need to be tweaked?
Thanks,
Vince
p.s. sorry if the mailing list got two copies of this. *grin* Please respond to
this one, as this is my work address

If I could tell you that, it wouldn't be random, would it?

That is going to be fixed in 0.9.3.
But you probably won't be able to use the bignum stuff on IRIX
machines as of yet.

[see the "Linux -- Strongly Advise Against..." message for the ssh
patch, sorry]
Ok, now here's my question to the OpenSSL list, since I know Ralf and
Ben read it. Where should I go to look for/talk about how I may patch
mod_ssl to overwrite the REMOTE_USER environment variable with the value

What does OpenSSL need in the way of action on my part to make good random
numbers? Anything?
I ask because I noted that /usr/local/ssl/lib/openssl.cnf has a line in it
that says "#RANDFILE = $ENV::HOME/.rnd" which is to say it's commented out.
What would a good RANDFILE look like?

Hi,
I'm using the sign.sh script that came with mod_ssl to sign a csr.
The command ./sign.sh server.csr gives an error
"error 7 at 0 depth lookup:certificate signature failure"
What does this mean and what I am doing wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
Sorry if I'm asking a question
A bit late, (I've been in spain,) but I've not yet had the oppurtunity to explore IRIX.
Think you allready resolved it by now anyway(?)
Good luck..
