Could me someone please explain for what these spec files are. What would be the exact way to integrate the patch from ftp://the-nelsons.org/pub into an existing installation? 1. Use patch or gpatch respectively? 2. What would be the command exactly to patch? 3. Do I have to rebuild something? 4.

I found the problem(s) with gdm and xdmcp. I uploaded a patch to ftp://ftp.the-nelsons.org/pub. If you don't want to rebuild SUNWgnome-display-mgr then you can download the prebuilt package from there as well. This message posted from opensolaris.org _
