Thanks for the reply. So late August for downloading U4. Is there a possibility
that the ZFS root filesystem and boot will be there? Or is that a future
release?

1) Did ZFS root system make it in to Solaris 10 Update 4?
2) When is the date this can be downloaded from sun.com?

Yes. Somehow it booted using ACPI with a value of 8 (it doesnt work with 2),
started solaris interactive installation and when it tries to test my video (I
manually set it to 915GM, 12" notebook lcd and etc...) before proceeding the
installation all it shows is a blank screen during test. I also
I believe that Solaris Express 11/05 has no support or broken support on Intel
915GM's video.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I'm a newbie. I've download and tried installing it on my i915gm. Everything
went fine until it stumbled across the video, mouse, keyb configuration. I
selected 915gm chipset, notebook svga, 800x600 screen resolution. When it comes
to testing the configurations I set comes a blank screen. I trie
I was able to disable ACPI. The proper way was to append ",acpi-user-options=2".
Thanks.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question. I just
downloaded Solaris Express 11/05 booted disc 1 of 4 and I need to disable acpi
option. I tried to boot by appending -B acpi-user-options=0x2 after the default
option -B install_media=cdrom but it says that:
krtld: Ignoring in
