I haven't heard back from anyone, and was curious if the folks at Sun could
comment (or forward the original message to someone who could) on the bugs
listed in the original message?
Thanks for any insight,

Howdy,
We provide external transfer capabilities to clients, and would like a straight
forward way to chroot users to their home directory when scp'ing or sftp'ing
files to us. There are various ways to do this (using pam modules, rssh, etc.),
but it would be nifty if the Solaris ssh daemon sup

The price for Sun cluster (and the agents) is listed as "free." From my
experience, the software on sun.com/download is identical to what you would get

Howdy,
Does anyone happen to know if Solaris 10 supports the NFORCE 570 Ultra chipset
that is prevalent on a fair number of socket AM2 boards? I checked
bigadmin.sun.com and the opensolaris.org bug database, but wasn't able to find
references to the 570 chipset. Not sure if it's classified unde

relatively well).

I sure have, and I personally don't think you can compare 'yum upg

r not accepting Solaris "AS IS." No product is perfect,
and as I outlined here:

Solaris has a ways to go to capture a larger install base (this is my
opinion, so please no flames). I think the opensolaris movement is

Howdy,
Has the mpxio and fcp source code been released? I searched
opensolaris.org and read through the roadmap, but couldn't
find any info on the fcp/mpxio code. Any thoughts?

Anyone interested in putting together an opensolaris user group in
Atlanta? I pinged our sales representative and he may be able to assist
with a meeting location and food.
Reply back if your interested,

I would love to see Sun sponsor an opensolaris conference/training session
for new/existing developers and users. It would be awesome to get a
"live" view of the source from the people who wrote it. This would also be
a great venue for people to meet and exchange ideas (and code). Training

Does anyone know if an iSCSI target implementation is on the opensolaris
roadmap? The initiator implementation looks promising, but the target
implementation would be super useful.
