Thanks Alan. Launchpad worked last night and today it says that OpenIndiana
doesn't use Launchpad for bug tracking. Where has the bug tracking gone?
Thanks

Who do we report OpenIndiana bugs to?
We really need a forum site like this one for Openindiana.

Will the SPARC install CD be something similar to the text installer for
Solaris 10 when installing ZFS as a root file system?

Ok, thanks, that clarifies things. So then, what is the general time frame
from when the dev b134 is released to when the official release is available?

I have a question for the OpenSolaris developers and the people responsible for
deciding when a particular build becomes an official release.
First some background. A few months ago I took a leap of faith and changed one
of my OpenSolaris systems over to the dev builds. To my surprise, despite
Where can I find the build LiveCD's for download?
Is there a SPARC version yet?

I commented out the assistive_technologies line in
/usr/java/jre/lib/accessibility.properties which makes the fix persistent
across reboots. Not sure what other effect commenting out this line does, but
it seems to fix the problem without impacting anything else.

Ok, thanks. I've done that with one of the forums.
The forum help page mentions watch lists, but I can't see how to activate this

Hi, is it possible on these OpenSolaris forums to add threads to a watch list
so that you get notification by e-mail when somebody replies?
I can't find anything in the Control Panel. Is there any other way of doing
this?
Thanks

Hi, I've been looking everywhere for the OpenSolaris build notes, and the only
place I found something was on the announce forum.
Where did you find these URL's:
http://mail.opensolaris.org/pipermail/opensolaris-announce/2010-February/001393.html
http://dlc.sun.com/osol/on/downloads/b132/on-chan
Yes it is old, but I thought I'd give it a try considering it is already
pre-built and packaged. I've tried several configurations using the smart
signaling cable and USB cable, with the same result - core dump.
As for trying to build version 3.14.7 from source, that doesn't work for me
either
Has anybody had any success running apcupsd after installing it from the
contrib repository? Mine just does a core dump.
Thanks

It looks like there are several ways of sharing file systems and directories in
OpenSolaris. I've managed to share zfs file systems by setting the zfs
sharenfs property on, on one OpenSolaris system and also used sharemgr on
another OpenSolaris system (with the zfs sharenfs property off). Both
