There are security patches available - just like for OpenSolaris 2008.05,
2008.11, and 2009.06, you can get security patches for 2010.11 by buying
a support contract.

It looks to me like java CLASSPATH issue. Try putting set -x in /usr/sbin/smc &
/usr/sadm/lib/smc/bin/smc script and post the o/p here. While smc launching in
java it should load all jars from /usr/sadm/lib/smc/lib &
/usr/sadm/lib/smc/lib/preload
