What do you get as output when you run these commands:
ls -l /dev/video
isainfo -kv
prtdiag -v
pfexec scanpci -v
Can you run those commands and copy and paste the output here?
Also, what does the device driver utility say when you run this command:
/usr/ddu/ddu.py &
in a terminal?

Not that anyone has responded, but it happened to yet another computer. Same
lines left behind, same ones deleted. I got an email when it happened, simply:
The error on fnog was "No such file or directory"

If you mean extended partition, then the answer is "no". OpenSolaris can only
be installed on primary partition.
