For now, that is your best option.
Track bug 6595488 to see when a fix is integrated.

This post is officially where opensolaris.org jumped the shark.
Perhaps we should move to the opensolaris.com forum to help doing the debugging:
http://forums.opensolaris.com/index.jspa
(The new forum seems to be better designed and more functional than the 'ol
Jiva forum, IMHO.)

Thanks for the response.
Does that mean there is no plan to do it on current solaris10? If we wait
Nevada release and plan out the upgrade for it, it may take at least 2 years.
Thumpers are very important equipment in our company, we are really looking
forward to getting it work/monitored better
I do device drivers, and I like to have a recent version of OpenSolaris
available for testing. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to learn all the
quirks of the Solaris build process, yet I would like to be able to keep up
with the latest OpenSolaris build easily.
I've been using BFU on top
I've seen this error multiple times in our testlab on systems with an solaris
unsupported dvd rom drive. Initial boot works but as soon as it tries to load
the installer we get this error. I think the miniroot is missing drivers.
A workarround is to setup a jumpstart server, it's easy and make's
Even though i was able to connect to the internet
my machine kept freezing up when i logged out as user
Also the no screensaver issue was still there for
normal users only and not root,
So i added the line PATH=$PATH /usr/openwin/bin to .profile
to fix that as i had read long ago.
All the manual

install b87 but I get " solaris express developer edition can only be installed
from dvd media..."
If I choose solaris express then I get "Cannot find Java software exiting to

Ok i have solaris installed
but i have a hard time configuring for a connection.
There is no DHCP option in solaris like
there was in solaris express.
In BSD setting up a connection was simple.
Host ,Doman,IPV4 gateway,name server,ipv4 asddress,and netmask
and i was online
It looks all more
Hi Angie,
We are already in process of migrating to current release of
Net-SNMP 5.4.1 for Solaris Nevada release. The SunFM also will be integrated
with new version. We also look into lmsensors support. Yes we also looking
into collaborate with Net-SNMP community moving forward .
thanks,
P
Solaris install and runs fine on sata drives. You need to provide more
information about your system, in particular:
* what sata controller you are using
* what is your BIOS setting for this controller - IDE, SATA, RAID etc.
