Installing Nevada 83a under Virtual Box under Windows XP. Install going fine
but now being asked for Language CD.
Two questions
1. I saw an old thread about CD size and the Language CD that would be fixed
around build 64. Did it get fixed.
2. Build 84 is now posted, is there a language CD spec

I wish I had seen this before. I took home my father's old machine, installed
a few harddisks and learned all about ZFS. ZFS is great. But since I place
the machine down in the cellar, I did not realise it was running in that state.

The Default setup is trying to optimize as much space as possible for
Home directories.
For a developer setup you need a couple of Gigs under /opt for
compilers.
And you need possibly a large amount of space ( 10 GB . )
under /var

I did the default install HD setup for 82a (upgraded from 79 to 82a from dvd).
I am using a 120GB hd. Upon booting I see a number of boot failure messages
regarding running out of HD space. Is this normal? I can list the errors if
need be, but wanted to know first hand if this is "ok" to

Apologies if this isn't the best forum for asking for help. I've been running
on SNV_64a on an x86 box for several months now - but a couple of nights ago
the machine started throwing kernel panics. Here is the output of one of them:

a open source driver. That sounds good. Let's hope Alanc is right in this
aspect.
Now, how big are the chances AMD will released the spec or a open source driver

Thanks for the reply. I am having problem compiling GNUCash in SXDE. The
Blastwave.org's version of GNUCash does not seem to have a check-p
Thanks, and the from changed subtly again. I guess I have to improve
the logic yet again so one has to chose from the pop up. code updated
in the meanwhile to account for the new form values.
