Janice,
Below you have 2 files where the first one is written from a windows
system. It seems to pick up the right owner but the file protection is
set up to disallow users on the solaris system to access the file. This
means that if I want
to access the file when logged in on Solaris I need t

I was always that much -> <- away from whining in the QEMU forum why no one's

Well, I found out more about. As long as the default scheduling class is set,
the system can handle 32 single-thread processes.

Never even noticed it was a wiki :) *done*, although I don't know how long
flickr will host that pic if it gets pounded.
I think that makes it MUCH more obvious. Granted, there's plenty of other work
that could be done, but I think my boss would prefer I do some real work today

Thanks.
FYI, www.nexenta.org website is totally open for editors (except front
page) - login and change the way you like it - its Wiki after all.

Good news indeed. If anyone has managed to configure host interface networking
to bridge a guest's interface on to an OpenSolaris host, I'd be interested in
the details. The VirtualBox manual is a little short on OpenSolaris specific
documentation yet...

Absolutely.

VirtualBox ( http://www.virtualbox.org ) has been my most favorable
virtualization technology and I always thought it runs better than VMWare. Now
it is going to become a member of the Sun (& thus OpenSolaris) family.
Wow!

Hi,
So this is the interesting problem, what to actually expose.
On a server in a computer room or out in a telco CO, do you need
sound ?
For the customers on the list for BlueWonder, it's not important.
What are you guys looking for in a system:
1. Small is pricey

I just tested out that with FSS this system is able to handle 32 processes with
single thread.

Hello,
Its been a while since I looked at getting a SATA controller for my Sun Blade

definately work) that I can see is the LSI Logic 3041X-R. This is a four port

Hi,
Well, I've tried one of the first T2000 with 8 cores = 32 threads ... At the
time I've tested with a script that basically would only create random
processes for math calculations. I know that these systems were not developed
for math but web tier applications. Either way, the system was ca
