This is even better:
svcadm disable basicreg
pkgrm SUNWb

That will improve boot time but to completely remove the hog
and improve login time one will have to do this:
rm /usr/dt/config/Xsession.d/1099.br
rm /usr/dt/config/Xsession.d/1001.swupnot
Hi,
Just run 'svcadm disable basicreg' as root to disable it :)

Thanks Shawn. Perhaps it could be disabled in the open source version? I'll
check to see if an RFE was submitted.
Mea culpa if this is a FAQ but what is the update method for Nevada? Or is
that not available on non-production releases?

Hi
AFAIK it's not available for Nevada. ( only for production releases )

Hello all,
I'm running Nevada snv_66 and enjoying it. However, the Solaris Registration
Wizard hangs whenever I attempt to login. I get the watch icon indefinately.
Any thoughts? I temporarily disabled my firewall but that doesn't appear to be
the problem.

Hmm. I think you could make things a lot simpler by utilising the CTF within
the MDB modul
adding the full prtconf -pv
prtconf -pv

The fact that there is WEP does not make WLAN useless.

Many thanks, Erwann.
I copied the BelaniX xorg.conf , and as usual, the installer stopped. So I
"tricked" the installer by renaming the file for the checking part, and then
renaming it back to xorg.conf while it was removing the old installation.
It worked!
But now when I run Compiz, there are
