Update: I also have gotten wine compiled without any problems. Didn't have the
time to test it yet though. Here is what I did:
1. downloaded the latest wine (0.9.41) from winehq (or some such)
2. set up the environment (I use `tcsh`, so these will need to be adapted for
Bourne shell family):

I tried sys-unconfig on my build 67 Express, and as I can recall, it didnt ask
for networky things. I recall under Solaris 10 06/06 or whatever, the
sys-unconfig command also asked for networky things. But not anymore, under
build 67. It only asks you hostname and only a few other questions. Not
