Yes for libftdi. No for libusb-win32. You can download the libusb-win32

Can you prepare a patch that fixes naming and documents
the behaviour?
This is indeed a source of confusion and you may find bugs in
You need to translate words to the host endianness if the
host is to interpret the words.
However, if you are just copying memory, then you can read
words and write them back, without worrying about endianness.
Less obviously if you have a memory region in host memory

Looks good to me!
Please put it into your mips branch and post a pull request once
everything is ready. I know you were working on something else too.

Is there a GPL wiz in the house?
Can we accept anonymous contributions just like that?
I know there are anonymous contributions in Linux.

i tried cross compiling for win32, since it's what i actually needed:
./configure --enable-mantainer-mode --build=i686-pc-linux-gnu
--host=i586-mingw32msvc
that works fine.
i need libftdi, so i'm trying
./configure --enable-mantainer-mode --enable-ft2232_libftdi
--build=i686-pc-linux-gnu --host=i5
I have been instructed we can only make the contribution if no explicit
copyright claim is required. Is that acceptable?

OK,
I am staring to get this. After looking more thoughly how it is
implementer in other architectures, I think that :
1) We use target_write_u32() to write instructions defined on the host
(in host endianess) to target. This function transform MIPS32_SDBBP
from host (usualy PC with LE) to good end
If you can maintain a branch with fixes that are ready to go
into the master branch, then that's really what we're looking
for at this point.
You'll then send a "pull request" and the release manager will
merge if it the pull request is ack'ed by others.

I restate some previous question - on which revision from master is this
RC based.
My big request - could we have this RC in the official OpenOCD
repositiory (the one on sourceforge)?

Hi all,
Currently for MIPS32 target we do mem writes using
mips32_pracc_write_mem() function. And this works fine, but only
untill kseg0 memory segment is uncached (i.e. K0 field of the Config
Register (CP0 Register 16, Select 0) are set to 0x2, which is a reset
value). However, this memory region

Hi Øyvind,

It should be noted that I do not have enormous knowledge of MIPS32

Hi all,
any responses on this ?
MIPS32 target is currently broken for soft breakpoint handling :
reading of the original instruction swaps the bytes, so
breakpoint->orig_instr is badly recorded. Reading of the current
instruction does this also, so we never read MIPS32_SDBBP needed for
