covering Cortex-A8 and ARM ADIv5, I have started to write up an easy
introduction to the debug components in a Cortex-A8 system.
This is not intended to replace the TRM's but to help the casual reader

So what happens when you modify the code to use runidle instead of
jtag_add_extraclocks()?
If that works, then it's a good indication that we should move to
implement events here and that the event sites have been
identified correctly.

Yes this is nice idea; it also helps keeping track on changes (one
does not need to reflect possible config modifications to a bunch of
