Thanx Ken :) I did install the package on OpenIndiana, reboot with
/reconfigure, but I can't see
any of the disks attached to the ARECA controller.
Also, modinfo does not show the arcmsr driver loaded.
Is there something else I need to do to let it see the disks?
Thanx,
Gabriele.

Hi, been running OI for awhile (oi-148). Looking at it, it says
"November 2010". This is going on 6 months. When I look at my ubuntu
and/or centos servers, I see fixes trickle in fairly frequently; what is
the update timeframe for OI? One reason I picked OI over SE11 was the

Hi Dan,
If you monitor the Illumos checkins, you will see that there is
a fair amount of activity going on.
I am unsure how this correlates with any binary release schedule
but at least at the OS source code level, things are surely
being fixed.

Hi Dan,
Work has been underway for quite some time on our next build, and the release
is imminent.
It is taking longer than anticipated though. Building a brand new community
around a codebase as large as OpenSolaris is no easy task, and we're having to
work with what Sun/Oracle provided, whic

P.S. - any info w.r.t. repository package updates, e.g. LibreOffice,
PostgreSQL, etc. Will such coincide with release or come later?

Gabriele,
You should have things in working order if the drivers installed correctly. I
just was mentioning to you the latest version of acrmsr.
You can use the Areca CLI tool to manage the controller from there. It is also
on the website in the download area.
