Probably, we need place a tag before zfs -- Opensource-ZFS or Oracle-ZFS after
Solaris11 release.
If it is true, these two ZFSes will definitely evolve into different directions.
BTW, Did Oracle unveil the actual release date? We are also at the cross
road...

I'm fighting a problem with an OpenIndiana 148 server and NFS3 mounts from
Linux clients. A simple cron job is run that moves some data files from another
server to the OI box. This runs well for a while, until at some point, the
client hangs and reports NFS server connection failure. Th
I haven't been at the command line of any of my oi systems for the while, but I
thought sudo had been effectively replaced with pfexec. At least in opensolaris
before it was killed. Thought pfexec was in oi too.

I have a couple of older house brand machines which boot & run everything up to
S10 U7 just fine. However, neither S10 U8 nor OI will boot. I encountered
similar problems w/ recent versions of Linux. In the Linux case, I was able to
