What’s the best place to report a bug in oi_148?
There does not appear to be a bug tracker/reporting tool on the OI website.
Cheers,

Not sure if anyone ran into the same issue as I did.
Running oi_148 (image-updated from opensolaris b134) I found it is
unable/umount or eject USB flash drive as regular user.
Neither can it be done via selecting umount in right-click gnome context

Hi Dave,
My brother is going to switch to OpenIndiana in the new year and to
reduce the number of "support calls" I purchased the OpenSolaris Bible
as a Christmas gift.
As OpenSolaris has been dropped, could this book be reworked but

Almost all of the stuff in the OpenSolaris Bible will be valid. The
sun userland still exists, and a lot of the management tools haven't
changed.
Speaking of that, I think that's one of the books I'll buy with my
first paycheck... :)
Best of luck.

You can install webmin, if you want it. Also look into napp-it, a
web-based configuration tool for OpenSolaris and related distros.

If I could choose I would probably use the webgui that comes with
FreeNAS (freenas.org). I haven't looked into napp-it but I remember the
confusion I had when I read in the OpenSolaris manual pages and the
OpenSolaris Bible about the webmin tools and couldn't find it in the OS.
It turned out t
You could compile from source, it's not very difficult.

Hi there
Long time FreeBSD user, I recently used OpenIndiana live CD to recover
a faulty zpool on which FreeBSD kept crashing.
Was pleasantly surprised on how smooth everything went.
I am now looking at migrating our file server from FreeBsd to a
Solaris based distribution.
My ZFS zpool is now
