I'd pull out any PCI{-EX} cards. I just installed S10 U10 on a DL360
G4 with a couple of
Qlogic FC HBAs. It got through the install and then started panicing
on reboot. I removed
the HBA's and patched the image, and when I reinstalled the HBA's,
everything was happy
again.
My panic looked alot
It might help to let us know what generation it is, eg G6, G7, G8 etc.
as they tend to differ considerably by way of their components,
onboard controllers, etc. That said, did you happen to save the dmesg
output from an OS that worked?

Yes it the latest bios and all firmware updated
Not seen any bios option like you asked but like i say oracle 11 is ok :(

What processor(s) is it running? Are they 64 or 32 bit?
Are you using the latest BIOS? (made a hell of a difference for me...
/dev/random error gone)
Is it one of those Proliants that allow you to set the OS type it
expects to boot via BIOS?
