I got a NVIDIA video card as a solution or workaround for a different problem
with builtin internal graphics;
the fact that the Intel CometLake-S GT2 [UHD Graphics 630] is, as far as I
know, not supported in OpenIndiana.
https://docs.openindiana.org/community-hcl/components/#graphics-adapters
The driver for intrl graphics is Kernel Mode Setting driver and so is theNvidia
driver. Have you tried to actually build the driver to see what where itstops,
etc.?
