Hi all
is this still persists ?
One of the workaround I have with large Hard Drive, is Partition it using
OmniOS, and then install OI, as the IllumOS in OI is 2013 version

Is anyone here has complete Repository of oi-dev-151x ?
It is mentioned in the documentation, that the legacy of oi-dev-151x is no
longer maintained.
However, due to our own needs, I will maintain that repository and made it
available on our server.
Is anyone has the repository ?

Dear Friends,
I am currently stuck with a subset of an installation Script on PostGIS on OI,
which prevents me to go further, and project time is due.
- Here's the problematic gcc
gcc -m64 -I../liblwgeom -fPIC -shared -o postgis-2.3.so

Hi,
I'd like to find out, why, if I compile and install a package ( example :
qt-x11-free-3.3.8b.tar.gz )
It can't immediately queryable via : pkg info [Package Name]
But if I install a package using : "pkg install", I can query using "pkg info"
So how can I make a package installed by manual comp
Yes, it is the latest 3.5 HDD from HGST.
I wasn't sure either which High Capacity HDD is supported on the illumos
version that hosts on OI201705
Probably this could be added in the Hardware Compatibility Lists in OI ?

Now we have HGST and Seagate providing 10TB Helium Filled HDD.
Anyone tried ?

Dear Friends,
I've noticed some text output before shutting down the system.
It seems someone ( or bots ) are constantly trying to log in as root.
Is there a mechanism to see the successfull and failed login attempts ?
Thank you,

Hi...
This is on OpenSolaris 2009.06 (b111)
I had a broken mainboard with 2 mirrored rpool, and 2 raidz datapool.
So, after I changed the mainboard, I can't boot into the rpool.
Then I boot into LiveCD, import rpool ( making / now the root ), and issue
installgrub on rpool
I also import datapo
