Oddly, that is around the retail price of most new high-end cellphones - before
discounts...

In order to get a working version VLC 2.1.4 Rincewind I added the
opencsw repository http://sfe.opencsw.org//localhostoi151a8/ . The only
problem I have found is that the audio is limited to 100%, it is not
possible to increase this to 115% as you normally can with VLC.
