At this point I think it would be better to hear from current OI devs.
They might not necessarily agree with what Alasdair had to say about
maintaining OI.
There are degrees of complexity and what's complicated for one might

The reason why Sonicle decided to run their own distro, is because we need a
self mantained one
as a base for our customers solutions.
Also, note that also Alasdair mentioned about the difficulty of mantaining OI.
