May be, but it's not our focus for now on. We will mostly focus on
fixing bugs on reports, rather than adding new features.

Hello,
You should try the sale_layout module. It allows you to create categories
and to assign a sale line into a category. The sales lines will be ordered
by their category's sequence in the listview. It is a groupby.
Instructions: Create a quotation, then insert some order lines. When you

Hi Simon,
Thanks for the following and the improvements ! That encouraging. I didn't
saw the edit html feature : that's sound very promising ! Great work.
I just though about something :
* Would it be that difficult to be able to print the current list view,
respecting the filter and 'group by'
* we also do not print empty columns
customers often do not have product codes or discount or some other fields
so we check each invoice for

if no line has a value in the column we suppress the column , leaving
more space for the other columns -

Hello everyone,
@ Nicolas:
I will soon write a little guide about report writing.
Simple idea is, as the report is a webpage, behind it you have an http
controller that is associated to an url and a qweb template.
All report's url follow the form /report/module.report_name(/ids).

Hi,
A few remarks after testing the report it-self:
* In the delivery slip (printed from a delivery order), note written at
the bottom aren't printed on the report. That's sad and not difficult to
fix.

Hello Fabien,
Thanks for that answer, I do now understand more the purpose ! That is
really welcome, and if the right management check is made before save

Great devs in any case, thanks !

Hi all,
Please keep in mind that the suggested way to edit a report is to use the
top menu Customer > HTML Editor.
The inline edition works on most use cases but may not be perfect for
complex editing (like adding a for sale order lines).

Hello,
That looks nice.
Simon it would be nice if you can make a little overview on how it works
internally.
I join Joël about security concern, how do you intend to manage security
and allows/prevent user to edit part/all of report content and layout.

@Guewen (about new line) and @Joel (about font-style and bullets)
It all depends what you are editing.
You can see the yellow border around t-field (t-fields are fields of a
browse record). These t-fields do not behave very well with the edit bar as
you have (all) seen. The new style tries to apply

Hello Joel, thanks for your feedback.
You are very right when you say you don't know if what you are editing is

All the sale orders (and all the other reports) share the same template.
When you edit the html, you edit the template of all your sale orders.
