Long story short, python setuptools is failing to find correct libraries
for the target, and is searching for them in the native path, where it
won't find them. (Look at my first email with log attached).

I would assume that this is a setuptools.bbclass issue, does anyone know
what to do? Is it trivial to fix?
I noticed that all the shipped python extensions were built as if we were
building for x86, even tho

Hi,
Sorry again. The patch was based on openembedded-core rather than poky, and
this is why the patchwork failed to apply it.
This should be the last one.
Thanks for the patience,

Hi,
Thank you for the review.
I took the opportunity to re-check my patch, as requested:
- removed old version;
- updated the patches for 1.5.0 version of the library;
- fixed configure-time flags;
- tested again.
Everything seems OK now.
a PATCH v2 shall follow.
Thanks,

libepoxy 1.4.3 did not compile successfully because of
implicit symbol definitions and link-time errors.
A new recipe with latest libepoxy release (1.5.0) which
successfully compiles is provided.

Hi Khem, hi all,
The build failed even with those patches.
Any suggestion so far?

Hi Khem,
Thank you for your reply.
The commit description is effectively what is happening (or at least,
partly) in my case.
I will get back to you as soon as the build with fresh environment
completes.

the inheritance chain, there is no trace of this dependency in
recipes.
Can someone tell me what is happening here?
I am using rocko and building for raspberry pi3 64 bit. No other layer is
added.

Yes, in fact Mesa rprovides both egl and libegl.
So the patch is to be issued to the userland recipe of raspberrypi in the
end. Would you confirm that?
