Hi Serguei,
Can you try File->Print and then choose Print to PDF in the dialog?
That works on my machine, but I don't know if this is a feature specific
to KUbuntu or KDE in general. It relies on dvips, which is a command-
line utility for converting DVIs that Harsh already mentioned.
