Thanks, I am using an alternate (community) build of Freetype, with the
Bytecode Interpreter enabled, so I'll try to revert the install

LibPoppler 0.12.3-1.1.1, with the QT4 Wrapper 0.12.0-3.7.1
I installed freetype 2.3.12-10.1 with Subpixel and the Bytecode Interpreter,
from an OpenSUSE Build Service Repository.
