I forgot to mention that MY(!) problem occurs with all my PDF files. in no
connection with the photo existence.
Actually, I use big (1-2MiB) HW manuals without a photo inside and Okular was

WOW!!!
All of my system started to work as superjet when I set Okular memory usage to
'Low'!!!
Although my PC has 2GiB RAM!
After installation it was 'Normal' and ever
