I don't believe that I am using Compiz, but how would I check for sure?
I am running Ubuntu Intrepid and Gnome.

Okular is opening all my documents in full screen mode (it even starts in
full screen mode with no document - just typing okular at the command
line). I don't see any setting to stop this behavior. How do I make this
stop?
