Ok, I can confirm the RESOLVED UPSTRAM.
I saw that libpoppler4 0.10.1 recieved a patch fromthe openSUSE repositories
which caused the trouble. Removing the patch fixed the issue. But

Just to be sure: If the old libpoppler4 was the problem, wouldn't the crashes
happen before on KDE 4.3.x? But they did not, the same PDF worked fine there...
