i don't know if the "number [label]" style is very user friedly:
-it doesn't follow the paradigm one infomation per (input) field

Okular (Poppler, rather) detects nothing, it just renders the graphics of the
page (which includes also what you see in form of "text"). The real text
information is totally different.
