I think its easiest to share my idea with this mailing-list, I hope this is

I like reading with just hitting until I reach the end of the document.
This is not possible with multi-column documents, so I have the idea for an
multi-column reading mode.

compiled these packages against a newer poppler and this is why it is crashing

Do you think it's likely that the problem is with poppler, given that these PDF
files worked with okular from KDE 4.3, using the same poppler version?
