I was just made aware that evidently this far east along Breezy Point beach
is private property, so beware...

sightings tomorrow of the Ross's Gull, Pine Grosbeak, Evening Grosbeak,

The previously reported bird is visible now from the little boardwalk
overlook on the east side of the water, south of the osprey nest. The bird
is distant, but looks like the possible pacific loon reported recently
here. Unfortunately I don't have a scope, so my views are not good.

Adult male Eurasian wigeon was just visible at Tschache Pool with many
American wigeon, distant looking north from the viewing area with the tower

Visible now from east end of gravel road at north end of East Pond at
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge
Also had an American bittern and a snowy egret looking north from the south
end of the East Pond

White-faced ibis just picked up with about 40 glossy ibis at south end of
East Pond, Jamaica Bay Wildlife refuge. A female hooded merganser is
present here as well.
