And sorry I forgot totally about the off-leash dogs. I wish the birding
community will do more about this problem, not only in Bush Terminal but all
over the
I so often went in the fall and winter - decided to better my numbers with a
spring visit. Perhaps missed many of the warblers, but one of the last birds I
got for this morning was a Summer Tanager, singing away among the tree-lined
path behind Icahn Stadium towards the northern end by the golf

Today was an improvement over yesterday in terms of both the weather and
numbers of birds, but still slow for mid-May. The best spot for us today was
the Point.

Has anyone been by Ketchum’s Creek, Suffolk County, to check up on the
previously reported Mottled Duck lately? Any info, positive or negative
results?
