There is currently a Tropical Kingbird at Mount Loretto Unique Area on the
south shore of Staten Island, found by Dick Veit. Both he and Anthony
Ciancimino have heard the bird, and taken photos.
You can get there by taking the woodlot path, to the right of the parking
lot.

Tom, thanks for posting the details on the Governors Island sighting. The #
of Bobolink seen was noted down in error. It was just one individual
clearly seen. It was associating with other birds but when this one settled
on the southside of Fort Jay I was able to ID this one. There were
