ters where the variability comes from.
It's part of the data, with each reported outcome defined by c(mean,sd).
sd incorporates both between- and within-subject variability. Separating
BSV and WSV is tricky when only aggregate data is available.

(And since we're talking mailing list technicalities: it would be
convenient to have a reply-to header added to posts so that replies
automatically go back to the list)

reaching the boundary in case of FO.
When I went to a training course in NONMEM 7, a prominent developer told
us that "FO can F.O.". I found that quite amusing, and I believe that I
have never used FO since...

t see that as a big issue, just the documentation could be a
little more detailed.
I agree that as soon as you know what to do, it's just a minor
inconvenience. ;-)

am only going to distribute threads on the local machine.
Hence the gforker manager that doesn't need to be started up and
configured explicitly.
If there's a better/less messy way to make this configuration work, I'd
be more than happy to learn!

re "fill", which makes R accept
non-rectangular data, and "as.is", which prevents R from converting
character data to factors.
Later, res.101 should probably be converted to numeric, but that's a
different story...

suggested by using two dose records; one for the zero-order and one for
the first order absorption.

but to my understanding, RAM and network
bandwidth are less of a bottleneck on OGE than on MOSIX. (For that,
MOSIX has other advantages...)

PS: A great source of information is the HTML help files in your nonmem

Kind regards and good luck.
