Well, that was a revelation. Did a count on
!Boot.resources.!cache.caches.default.netsurf and find 222 megabytes
of stuff. Earliest date seems to be Sept 06.

"Text" is the default file type for files created using UnixLib. Given
these files are not meant to be consumed by humans, I don't see a
problem there.
